I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a background in Child and Youth Care and over 18 years of experience working with individuals in Mental Health, Education and Child Welfare. I am committed to supporting individuals acknowledge the difference they can make in their lives.
Recovery and self-development are ongoing processes of learning, doing, and healing. Together, we will identify what is and what is not working for you to determine the steps for improving your health and wellness. You are more than the symptom or concern that has brought you here, and learning about you through my ever-curious, engaging nature will help us to understand your needs on a more holistic level.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying), I am currently completing my Master of Counseling Psychology with Yorkville, I embody a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to therapy and support clients from a lens of curiosity and compassion. I work with individuals aged 15 and up who may be struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, biculturalism, identity, and individuals who identify with the LGTBQ community. Demonstrating a culturally responsive approach to practice has enabled me to appreciate the diverse worldviews and unique experiences of individuals.
Together we will explore how your experiences have influenced your life and identify opportunities to affect the changes you wish to see in your life. This journey is about you, and I offer you my support, respect and validation in a safe space.
