New year, a new way of doing things…. The year 2023 is considered an abundant year where all things possible are possible.

What possibilities would you like to consider? What new experiences would you like to have be a part of your life this year?

This exercise is designed to support you in expanding your way of thinking to consider potential opportunities for yourself. As habituated creatures, we tend to default to the “but no I can’t…” way of thinking that can prevent new experiences from coming into our lives. What if we learned to talk back to this limiting view, what might happen do you suppose?

Begin with creating a quiet space, free from distractions to engage in this exercise. Ask yourself, what would I like to happen for me this year? What new experiences would I like to consider or be apart of my life? Sit with this for a few moments and notice anything that comes up. What form do your thoughts take? Are they expansive as in ‘Bring it” or are they limiting in nature and sound like “It's not possible”… or “I can't do that…” “What’s the point…”

Just notice these without engaging with them or allowing them to define your truth. Simply respond with, “What if I could, what would I like to occur?” Take 3 deep breaths.. yes, I said it. Breathing allows for a reset and helps to clear away the mind clutter that can get the best of us at times. And let your pen and mind just flow….

** Tip for this to be an open experience, is not to overthink. Refrain from questioning how it would happen or why…. Just allow it and go  .. see more under reflections
